We have gotten several e-mails over time from curious web site visitors and forum members about wanting to donate to the forums and we have always declined in the past however since the site has grown so large we are now accepting donations.

The web site is made possible because the admin owns a small web hosting company and is able to host the web site on already established servers and bandwidth. The site and forums started off very small as all sites do. During the first few months of 2005 our unique daily visitors have more than tripled and our registered forum members have more than quadrupled taking their toll on the server, storage space, and bandwidth usage. Usage will only increase as the site and forums continue to grow. In May 2005 we have moved the site and forums to their own dedicated server which we were able to build from previous contributions. Our main expense now is the bandwidth usage of the site which has gotten quite high and will only grow higher and higher as the site grows in popularity. In early 2007 we have crossed over 10,000 members and with dwindling donations we were implemented the familiar Google AdSense advertising program. We have implemented this program in a way which our senior members and contributors are free from seeing the ads.

We would appreciate any donation you could make to help defray the monthly costs, however please do not feel that you must submit a donation to remain a member of the forums or a frequent visitor to the web site. The last thing we want to do is turn members away by applying any type of pressure to make donations. Any member who donates will be recognized in our "Thank-You" list below and will be put into the blue "Contributors" group versus the standard "Members" group in our forums. The ability to remain anonymous also exists and we will first verify with any donor if they wish to be recognized or not.
